Approval for use in National Flood Insurance Programme
The US Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has recently approved and included MIKE FLOOD on their exclusive list of hydraulic models accepted for use in the National Flood Insurance Programme (NFIP). One of the implications is that MIKE FLOOD can now be applied in projects, which include flood risk mapping and other projects related to the National Flood Insurance Programme.

MIKE FLOOD joins two other DHI Software products on the list of FEMA approved hydraulic models. Both MIKE 11 and MIKE 21 have previously been approved for river and coastal flood modeling.
