The weather radar developed by DHI is installed near the two largest cities in Denmark:
- north of Copenhagen near Hørsholm (at the DHI head office)
- west of Aarhus near Søstershøj (at the DHI office in the Science Park).
Each radar has a range (radius) of 60 km, and shows the actual rainfall in the area. The pixel size is 500 by 500 m. The radar images, updated every 5 minutes, can be found at www.regn.dk
There are now more that 9000 users on DHI Danish Weather Service page www.regn.dk that shows on-line weather radar images from Copenhagen and Aarhus.
